Nick Larchenko

Managing Partner

Nick specializes in complex technical accounting, valuation and tax matters. He has over 20 years of experience in the industry, including 14 years at a Big Four accounting firm in the audit and capital markets practice. As a manager, Nick focuses on efficient project execution guided by clear strategic goals. Nick has a strong appreciation of financial reporting as both a compliance and business function. He is a CPA licensed in New York, California. Nick holds an Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) certification from AICPA, MBA from University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Ph.D. in accounting from Moscow State University

Polina Leudanskaya

Director- Accounting Advisory

Polina has over 12 years of progressive professional experience at one of Big Four accounting firms. She is highly skilled in revenue recognition, lease accounting, accounting for financial instruments, including warrants and convertible debt. Polina has assisted many clients with preparation of full set U.S. GAAP financial statements, first-time adoption of IFRS, converting of financial statements from IFRS to U.S. GAAP.  She has an extensive experience in manufacturing, mining and construction industries. Polina is a licensed CPA.

Vadim Mendelson

Manager- Accounting Advisory

Vadim spent more than 8 years as a financial controller, managing financial close, external audit, preparing GAAP financial statements. His areas of expertise include lease accounting (ASC 842), revenue recognition (ASC 606), accounting for Variable Interest Entities (VIEs) under ASC 810-10 as well as foreign currency matters (ASC 830). Vadim is a licensed CPA in California.

Denis Podshivalenko

Director- Valuation Services

Denis brings more than 15 years of valuation experience in the U.S. and internationally, focusing on valuation of debt and equity instruments including embedded features and warrants, business valuation and purchase price allocation. Denis is experienced in the area of impairment tests covering goodwill, other intangible assets, and long-lived tangible assets. Denis has a Ph.D. in Economics from Rostov State University, professional valuer diploma from Moscow State Construction University and is a member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Carlos Lara

Manager – Accounting Advisory

Carlos has extensive experience with various accounting functions, including managing AP, closing accounting books and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. He began his career in corporate bankruptcy, assisting clients with the financial aspects of the Chapter 11 process. His industry experience covers a wide range of sectors, including import/export, fashion, media production and distribution. Carlos earned his Bachelor’s from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
