About FinAcco:
FinAcco is an accounting practice based in Los Angeles. We help U.S. public companies comply with relevant accounting requirements. The accounting requirements are U.S. GAAP as developed by Financial Accounting Standard Board (FASB) and Security and Exchange Commission (SEC). As part of our work we write memos on accounting issues relevant to our clients. Examples of such issues can be revenue recognition, stock compensation or accounting for acquired business. Generally, these are more complex accounting areas where companies need addition help. Dealing with complex accounting issues is not the only area we help our clients. Who we are looking for:
We are looking for enthusiastic folks who would like to get more exposure to complex accounting topics. You do not have to have much formal knowledge about these topics yet. We will help you learn more.
Professional Requirements:
- Desire to learn more about accounting issues;
- Responsible and committed to work;
- Diligent and attentive to details;
- Enthusiastic and interested in client service;
Hours and Timeframe:
We’d like our interns to be available between 10 and 25 hours a week. We’d be happy to accommodate other hours, depending on individual circumstances. Our expectation is that the internship will last for approximately 3 months. We can be flexible with start and finish dates.
